¿How much does it cost to rent the house?
Our prices can vary depending on the season. You can see them in our website, in the following link.
How can I make the payment?
In order to confirm and block the reservation, it is necessary to make the first payment of the 50% of the total price of the booking. If this payment is not received within the 3 days after making the reservation, the booking dates will be unlocked.
The 50% balance has to be done 4 weeks before your arrival

Can we cancel the reservation once payment has been made? (Cancellation policy)
Of course, you can change the opinion or something unforeseen modified your plans (we hope, no)
To block your dates on the calendar, we ask you for a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the stay.
If you have to cancel the reservation, our cancellation policy is as follows:
If you cancel 4 weeks (30 days) before your arrival, we return half of the deposit or amount received til the date
If you cancel within 4 weeks before your arrival, and you have paid the total of the amount, we return the 50% of the total paid.
If you cancel within 15 days before your arrival, we will charge the complete booking.

How many “stars” and category Mas Dàlia has?
The farmhouse or rural cottage do not have stars. They have ears of wheat, and Mas Dàlia has 3.
Also, Mas Dàlia belongs to the “Asssociació Turisme Rural Girona” and “Girona Cases Rurals”
Is the house and its facilities shared with other people?
This is one of the things that our clients value, the privacy and luxury of being able to rent a house 100% for themselves.

When is the check-in and check-out ?
If the house has been occupied the day before, we need to do the complete cleaning in order that the house is in perfect conditions by the time you arrive.
For that reason, our check in and check out are as follows:
Check in: from 16.00h.
Check out: from 11.00h.
Do I have a concierge or someone who I may contact during my stay?
The house is rented in exclusivity and privacy for you.
Nevertheless, for any questions, incidents or queries during your stay, we will be happy to assist you.

About us
Does It have air conditioning and heating?
Yes, of course. Air conditioning and heating in all rooms and common spaces.
In addition, one of the living rooms has a fireplace that we hope it will be the place where you will be sharing great moments during your stay (specially in winter)

Where is Mas Dàlia?
Mas Dàlia is located in a strategic point of the Baix Emporà, in the surroundings of the medieval village of Monells.
From there, it is very easy to access important touristic places, beaches, medieval villages, shopping centers and a wide range of activities.
The closest airports are:
Girona; 47 Kms.
Perpignan: 112 Kms.
Barcelona: 142 Kms.
And the train stations are:
Flaça: 11 Kms.
TGV / AVE station: 25 Kms.

Which is the capacity of the house?
Our house has a capacity for 12-14 people. It has 5 double bedrooms with a private bathroom and another bedroom that we call “familiar or ensuite” with one king size bedroom and 2 single beds.
All our bedrooms are very spacious and have natural light. And, as we think that it is very important to enjoy privacy, we are proud to say that all rooms have private bathrooms.
Are you pet friendly?
Yes, dogs are allowed in our house. Other animals under request.
We kindly ask you to respect the following rules:
– We accept pets, always under the responsibility of its owner
– The owner is responsible of any damage caused by his pets to third parties and/or furniture of the property
– It is forbidden to leave the pet alone in the house
– Within the property is not place for your pet to relieve itself, so you must take this into account. If feces are found on the property, a supplement of €60.00 will be charged for extra cleaning. This amount will be charged from the deposit.
– Please do not allow him to climb on the armchairs, sofas, beds, etc.
– Dogs are not allowed to enter in the pool area
How many cars fit in the outdoor parking?
Mas Dàlia has an outdoor parking that can fit 7 cars approximately
How is the distribution of the bedrooms?
The bedrooms of Mas Dàlia are distributed in 2 floors, all of the have heating, air conditioning and private bathroom
Ground floor
Room nr. 1: King size double bed (180×200 cm) and 2 single beds (90x200cm)
Room nr. 2: 2 single beds (90x190cm)
First floor
Room nr. 3: 2 single beds (90x190cm). This room has private terrace
Room nr. 4: 2 single beds (90x190cm)
Room nr. 5: 2 single beds (90x200cm)
Room nr. 6: 2 single beds (90x200cm)
How is the swimming pool?
The size of the swimming pool is 10x4mt, and 1,70mt. of depth (approx.). It is salted water, so we collaborate with sustainability and it does not irritate the skin
The pool area is fenced. Nevertheless, if there are children in the house, we recommend to leave the wooden door always closed. Children must be in the swimming pool area accompanied by adults.
Is Mas Dàlia a good place to do cycling?
The location, in the heart of Baix Empordà, in a very quiet natural environment, and also, close to the “Las Gavarras” and the “Els Angels”, makes Mas Dàlia the perfect place to start your cycling tour from the house.
We are so sure that Mas Dàlia is a place for cycling lovers. So, we have equipped the house to make them feel at home.
You will find in the garden a close bike keeping room, but if you prefer to keep your bike in the room, you can do it.
We have also provided a space to clean the bikes and some basic tools, in case you need to repair something.

A part, Mas Dàlia belongs to the association Girona Cases Rurals and Turisme Rural Girona.
We are very happy to share with us this quality seal. In the following weeks, we will have the “bike friendly” seal.
About the area
Where is the closest supermarket or bakery?
As we have explained, the house is located in the surroundings of the small village of Monells, and you will not find any supermarket, so you will need the car to move from the house to any place.
The closest bakery is in Corça, 5 Kms. far from Monells, where you can find also a small supermarket.
But if you are looking for a big supermarket, the closest one is in La Bisbal d’Empodà, about 10 minutes by car from Monells
Also,in La Bisbal d’Empordà you can find small shops where you can buy local products.
Remember that you can ask us for a transport service, in case you need it. Just, can call us at our mobile phone, +34 628 285 798, and we will try to find one (under availability).
What activities can we do in the area or its surroundings?
Although Mas Dàlia is the perfect place to disconnect, being in the middle of nature and its incomparable strategic point, It can offer to the guests an infinite number of cultural, gastronomic, and landscape activities.
After a day of rest, it feels very good to do some exercise and discover the untouched nature of the Costa Brava by walking, cycling or sailing.
Or, if you are looking for more adventure, you can immerse in the protected fauna of the Mediterranean sea by practicing diving.

How is the weather in the Baix Empordà?
The weather in Baix Empordà is Mediterranean climate, strongly influenced by the sea, so humidity is a regular guest that one eventually gets used to.
The climate of Baix Empordà is defined as Mediterranean, Litoral (due to its proximity to the coast) and North.
The average annual temperatures are between 15 and 17 degrees. In January the average is 9 to 10 degrees in flat places, and in July, the average is 24 to 25 degrees.
Summers are hot, especially due to the humidity provided by the sea breeze, especially the months of July and August.
The rainy period is between September and October, while the driest month is July.
When we are enjoying the farmhouse
How is the cleaning service?
Final cleaning service is included in the rental price. Also it includes the washing up of the linen and towels
Before leaving the house, we ask our guests to leave the linen and towels on the desk or chair of each room.
If during your stay we wish to have a daily cleaning service, do ot hesitate to contact us, and we will inform you about availability and prices.
Where do we throw the garbage?
We do the selective collection. You will find 5 small garbage cans in the kitchen.
It is not allowed to leave garbage outside the house or in the house the day you leave. The garbage must be left in the big containers you will find before arriving in the village of Monells.
Can you invite friends who are not staying in the house?
The house is prepared to accommodate 12-14 people, so it is not allowed to accommodate people who do not belong to the group reservation.
In case of specific visits by someone from outside, you must notify the property in advance, and it will give its authorization.
It is not allowed to have /celebrate parties in the house and either, in the pool area.
